Red Bull Wedding Gift
Red Bull enjoys the finer things.
Red Bull Athlete Dion Phaneuf married Canadian starlet Elisha Cuthbert in July of 2013. Red Bull wanted to give the couple a gift they would never forget and, once the circus surrounding a celebrity wedding died down, they could take some time, unwind and enjoy a moment to themselves.
A custom wine case was woven together using two types of wood that originate in Dion and Elisha’s birthplaces of Calgary and Edmonton. The artwork on the surface of the box was laser-etched imparting a rich essence to details surrounding the union. Inside, the case was adorned with wooden fixtures, gold foil and a warm leather tufting that housed the main attraction: a 1970 bottle of Dom Perrignon, a legendary vintage in Champagne, and Reidel flutes for two.
The case was shipped in a one-off box, padded for care and emblazoned with the ED monogram designed specifically for the project.
