Red Bull Thre3style DJ events across Canada featured unique graphic 'mascots' adding local pride to the regional appeal.
File this one under 'good times'. It is always a pleasure to work with an engaged client like Red Bull, but this project exceeded all expectations in terms of collaborative work and produced some pieces that remain my personal favourites. My limited illustration talents were pushed past their limits on this one, a much welcomed challenge that laid the foundation for a visual system that has endured in the years since.
The visual system was based on a collegiate look and feel and borrowed regional mascots to drive home a local content angle. T-shirts and baseball hats from the events were extremely popular and drove interest in the World Championships held in Toronto later that year.
