Georgian Partners is a private equity group involved in the Series A funding of tech startups, most notably Shopify.

Where many VC firms will strong arm fund participants into often painful and difficult restructuring, Georgian Partners takes a more considered mentor-focused approach, preferring to foster the personalities that made those companies successful in the first place. It was important to the principals that their brand reflect the youthful qualities of the category.
Golden ratio construction
It was a pleasure working with everyone at Georgian Partners. They all shared an approachability and optimism that might be unexpected in private equity and you can see that come across in the natural photography taken by the very talented Richmond Lam. The refresh of the brand is focused on the real experience of working with them and while some influence of the legacy mark remains, the new look and feel is energetic and forward-looking.
